I got some 45's when I was a kid
Hand me downs full of mystery
I had a Fisher Price, opened up the lid
A universe revealed itself to me

In my room with stacks of wax
My cousins would not get back

Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely
Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely

I let some broken hearts knock me out of time
Make me feel I never had the moves
But soon the music healed my body, heart and mind
It never took me long to find my groove

Now when I need to feel that joy
I put it on, I'm still that boy

Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely
Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely
Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely

Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
I'm still alive

Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely
Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely
Dancing to "Sir Duke" never got old
And I never got lonely

Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
Let me play my, let me play my
Let me play my 45's
