I was running and hiding
Playing for a living
Running from all those lies
Ancestors wisdom were all we ever knew
They molded mind
My Soul it  fueled me through
But they only saw a child who

Played for the living
In streets and fields...finding a life
Learning forgiving
Cutting away from blood lines
Living in other cultures
Where the pray five times everyday
Living pure presence I had some Nirvana days
But they only saw a boy who

Families and tribes
Original cause of our needs
Love frees holy seeds
Nurturing the cycles of our lives
Noble heritage as guardians of this fine place
It starts at home
Living in the throne of grace
But they turned away from a man who knew
