Bendida

Bendis (Ancient Greek: Βένδις) was a Thracian goddess associated with hunting and the moon. Worship of the goddess seems to have been introduced into Attica around 430 BC. In Athens, Bendis was identified with the goddess Artemis, but she had a separate temple at Piraeus, near the temple of Artemis, and was a distinct goddess. She was a huntress, like Artemis, but was often accompanied by dancing satyrs and maenads, as represented on a fifth-century red-figure stemless cup at Verona. The Greeks wrote of Bendis as one of the seven daughters of Zeus who were turned into swans who would later reappear in human forms driving a golden carriage and teaching crowds. more »

We are going to war

We live under the blue skies all alone and free
We are not afraid from freezing cold, neither from the heat
We have our snowy mountains, we have our valleys green
Our music hard as metal, but gentle as the breeze
Then they came without a warning, countless hordes from hell
They took our snowy mountains, our lovely land
They took from us our forest, our rivers and lakes
They took our harvest and our game

War, War, War
We are going to War
War, War, War
We are going to War

They took our wives and children, our people as their slaves
They tramped our splendid music, bearing shits on its place
But we resist against them we drew our spears and swords
We saddle our horses, and we are gathering for war
It's time for retribution, we take our bows and shields
Let the enemies know, they will pay for all their deeds
They'll pay for our suffering, for our mothers' tears
But next time when they see us, they will be trembling with fear

Going to War
War, War, War
We are going to War
Going to War
War, War, War
We are going to War

We'll stab their hearts, we'll cut their throats
We'll tear them apart
We'll drive them back to hell, away from our land
We'll slay them as cattle, no one shall survive
We will rise with our vengeance
They will pay with their lives

Going to War
War, War, War...
We are going to War
Going to War
War, War, War...
We are going to War

We are mourning for our fallen brothers on battlefield
For they shall be remembered and the songs shall be sing
For we have all the glory and we have the might
When the gods are calling then we shall arise

So, blow the horns and raise thy swords we are gathering for battle
Some of us may not survive, but more enemies will die
The Mighty Gods protect us, 'cause we have got the right
We are fewer in the number, but we will win the fight
We are marching to the battle with anger in our hearts
Soon the fields and rivers will drink their wicked blood
With us are beasts and eagles and our beloved land
With us is Mother Nature, we will fight until the end

Going to War
War, War, War...
We are going to War
Going to War
War, War, War...
We are going to War
