MadWorld is a beat 'em up hack and slash video game developed by PlatinumGames, published by Sega, produced by Atsushi Inaba, and directed by Shigenori Nishikawa. It was released worldwide for the Wii in March 2009 and in Japan in February 2010. It was re-released in Australia in the Welcome to Violence boxset in March 2010, which includes The House of the Dead: Overkill and The Conduit. Despite low sales, MadWorld received generally positive reviews from critics. A spiritual successor, Anarchy Reigns, was released in 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. more »
