Redox ( RED-oks, REE-doks, reduction–oxidation or oxidation–reduction) is a type of chemical reaction in which the oxidation states of substrate change. Oxidation is the loss of electrons or an increase in the oxidation state, while reduction is the gain of electrons or a decrease in the oxidation state. There are two classes of redox reactions: Electron-transfer – Only one (usually) electron flows from the atom being oxidized to the atom that is reduced. Everyone wants to leave

But for what

A better chance at starting something over again

Instead of making due

With what they've been given

Idealizing a perfect world

One that they know does not exist

And will never exist

They wish for heaven on earth

And only heaven on earth

And won't do anything

By any means to get it

Some are misguided

Some have truly evil intentions

Some merely want to enslave the demons

That encapsulate them in this life

Others

They long for something more

They long to make

A difference a chance

To reroll the dice that were rolled for them

It's impossible to know what lies ahead

However hardly you may try

It will never be possible

Where you can wake up

And suddenly everything is perfect

Everything's calm

Relationships mended overnight

People long to live life

Where they can control the outcomes

They're not meant to control

They are never truly at peace

As they're always seeking something more

Something to better their fantasies

Something to expand their world

Their world that constantly shrinks and dies

Under the weight of their expectations

It's impossible to fulfill these

Yet they always try

Someone who is truly at peace

Is someone who does not seek these things

They are someone who knows

How to withhold themselves

And deal with the dice and cards

That have been dealt to them
