In the silence of the night, echoes slowly fade
Shadows of my past, in the darkness they cascade
Will time erase my name, from this world's embrace
Or will I linger on, in some far-off space

Will I be a fleeting sigh
Lost in winds that pass on by
Will echoes of my soul survive
Will I fade in the afterlife
Will time remember my humble cry
Or in forgotten realms, let me lie
Amidst the stars, will I find my drive
Will I fade in the afterlife
In the echoes of forgotten lore
Will I linger, evermore
Will whispers carry me, revive
Will I fade in the afterlife
As the sands of time relentlessly fly
Will my existence just signify
A mere footnote, a blink, contrived
Or will I fade in the afterlife

Dreams I held so tight, now slip away like sand
Will they vanish into night, in a fate unplanned
Fear of being lost, in this endless sea
Will I stand the test, or just cease to be

Will I be a fleeting sigh
Lost in winds that pass on by
Will echoes of my soul survive
Will I fade in the afterlife
Will time remember my humble cry
Or in forgotten realms, let me lie
Amidst the stars, will I find my drive
Will I fade in the afterlife
In the echoes of forgotten lore
Will I linger, evermore
Will whispers carry me, revive
Will I fade in the afterlife
As the sands of time relentlessly fly
Will my existence just signify
A mere footnote, a blink, contrived
Or will I fade in the afterlife

In the echoes of regrets, I find my trace
Hoping for a legacy in this fleeting space
Haunted by the fear of forgotten dreams,
In this uncertain journey, what's left for me

Will I be a fleeting sigh
Lost in winds that pass on by
Will echoes of my soul survive
Will I fade in the afterlife
Will time remember my humble cry
Or in forgotten realms, let me lie
Amidst the stars, will I find my drive
Will I fade in the afterlife
In the echoes of forgotten lore
Will I linger, evermore
Will whispers carry me, revive
Will I fade in the afterlife
As the sands of time relentlessly fly
Will my existence just signify
A mere footnote, a blink, contrived
Or will I fade in the afterlife
