I'm a little aggravated with the world today, Nothing I try seems to go my way,
All the drinking I'm doing won't help me get it
Well, maybe I'll write a therapeutic song, Make a long story short
But keep the message strong
I think I'd rather just get drunk and forget it

Cause this here beer in this here bar
Is right across the street,
So I don't gotta go far
Pretty convenient when it gets to 20 below

So much on my mind, I've got to take it slow
Just watching all the plows go by
It's raining on the snow

It's winter and it's long and it's still going on
Damn near through March
There's still an inch on the lawn
It's gonna be a sloppy mess come April
Well, shit come April I'll be pumping hog barns
The hours are long and the smell's a bit harsh, But at least it's outside
And it's pretty good money most of the time
Well, I think someday I'll just lose my phone, Grab the guitar,
Get in the car and leave home,
Say goodbye to the people I know and love
But the dog is coming with, I tell you what

Rose red cheeks and bloodshot eyes,
Monday morning came like a poke in the eye,

Sittin by the window of this coffee bar in town
Nothing better in the morning than watchin Cars drive around and
Watchin the people comin in and out
All shapes and sizes
Different colors of hairs and eyeses
All surprises
Live music on the risers
Me none the wiser

And this caffeine won't get me far
If I didn't spend so much of my time at that bar This hurt might finally turn to a scar
That's all I got so far
Hell, give me another beer, why not
