The other day I was just hanging out, minding my own business

Cigarettes and coffee and sleepy guitars
Sit on the breakwater, stare at the sea

Well we walked around that same city block a couple of times
And for a little while it felt like the wind was going to blow right through us
We got lost a few times, but I guess we got found some too
I remember that perfect snow was falling so fast
She looked up and laughed about something, I can still hear it
Never felt that warm in a snowstorm before

Well I need a girl who will pick up and go
Grand Canyon Sundays and high mountain snow
Smile in the sunshine and chase all the fog
Laugh with my sister and wrestle my dog

Well you want you can go ice fishing,
Or learn how to plow snow and coach Pee Wee football on Saturdays
And I could probably keep changing addresses every few months
Or live in my van again and play coffee house gigs from here to Poncha Springs
Chances are though there's more to it than that, I'm not sure what exactly
But I hope that everybody can have as much fun living as we are

It's funny how the moments of life roll by

And if life were easy and not such a blur
