Listen to me children hear these words I have to say
A sermon I will give you on this beautiful Sunday
I'll teach you all I know of how to live a righteous life
The virtues of the man who made the greatest sacrifice
Caring for all people was his leading thing to do
And the central thing to know is that he came and died for you
So as you grow and think of how you'd like to make your mark
Remember what our Savior did and what came from his heart

Go out there be together and be nice to one another
Love all your fellow citizens and care for every other
The best of all achievements is to follow Jesus Christ
It is great to be accomplished but it is so much better to be nice

We want to have an impact and we want to all be liked
But the best way of fulfilling it is doing what is right
To show that everyone has worth and learning it for sure
We must practice all the ethics that were practiced by the Lord
Morality's a mountain that we all should seek to climb
And give our every effort to connect with the divine
I know that Christ is here with us his breath is in the breeze
I see him reaching to us through the branches of the trees
