Monolith

A monolith is a geological feature consisting of a single massive stone or rock, such as some mountains. For instance, Savandurga mountain is a monolith mountain in India. Erosion usually exposes the geological formations, which are often made of very hard and solid igneous or metamorphic rock. Some monoliths are volcanic plugs, solidified lava filling the vent of an extinct volcano. They parade me around in chains
The ritual to sentence years when we've only got days

So as you slip on down the stones, into the raging foam, rather you than me

Cascading towards the maelstrom, the foolish hounds behind you
If god was real then he'd make the tide take them
As their bodies begin to surface, suddenly it all seems worth it
To watch the zealots meet their end

I slump back down, to inhabit the ground and be pummelled out of existence.

The vermins end, turned to paste to begin again
The vermins end, all your creations down the drain

The vermins end and so the rot will descend
