Robert Eric Wone (June 1, 1974 – August 3, 2006) was an American lawyer who was murdered in the Washington, D.C., home of a college friend, Joseph Price, in August 2006. Wone was living in suburban Oakton, Virginia, but had been working as general counsel at Radio Free Asia in downtown Washington. He had stayed the night at the home of friends located about one mile from his office. According to police affidavits, Wone was believed to have been "restrained, incapacitated, and sexually assaulted" before his death. Here goes daft lad again
Derailing on a Monday night
His minds at ease if he cant remember the day he's had
The lights are on but there's no one home
His conscience wanders a lonely road
Fuelled by double measures and another packet

He's used every excuse that he has in his playbook
How much longer til the crowd lose faith
They've seen this show and they know how it closes
He'll then proclaim that this times different
But how many times has he reset the clocks
One step forward and Three years back
He's crying wolf again

The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
The Solitary Socialite
The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
The Solitary Socialite

The curtains are drawn and regret kicks in
The mirrors patience is wearing thin
We cant go on like this
He pleads to his own reflection
He dreams that half a dozen strings
Can cure the pain of all the other things
He seeks forgiveness for his sins

The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
The Solitary Socialite
The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
The Solitary Socialite

The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
The Solitary Socialite
The suns come up son call it a night
The towels been thrown its the end of the fight
Blaming the world cos his heads not right
