Sometime late last night
My thoughts ran round in circles
I sat up, turned on the light
The answer was so simple
Everything's so clear
I just need to find the perfect words
To whisper in your ear

When there's no one else around
Chatting with the ceiling
Questioning the floor
Cause there's no one else to talk to
Since you walked out the door

It's only been a week
Or maybe it's a year
Since you packed your bags slammed the door
And simply disappeared
I wanted to explain
But it's taken me this long
To find the words to tell you
Just exactly how you're wrong

Debating with the table
Lecturing the air
I know that I'm not perfect
But you've got to see I care

My chair has arms that hold me
They won't let me stand up tall
I can't walk the streets in daylight
I can't even make it down the hall
There's no one in my mirror
No one in my bed
Can't see my own reflection
Can't recall what I just said

Argue with the windows
Pleading with the walls
But they don't seem to listen

Some say that hell is crowded
With tortured souls that wail
A boiling pit with fires lit
By sparks from Satan's tail
But I found hell within these rooms
And silence is the flame
Turning hours into ashes
And memories into pain
