Highasakite is an indie pop and indie rock band originating from Norway. The band formed when vocalist and songwriter Ingrid Helene Håvik met drummer Trond Bersu whilst studying jazz at the Trondheim Jazz Conservatory. Starting as a duo in 2010, they soon recruited Øystein Skar and Thomas Dahl to play the synthesizer, and bass and guitar respectively. After six months they started to work on their debut album. The album All That Floats Will Rain was released in 2012 via Riot Factory in Norway. After the album's release Marte Eberson was added on keys and synthesizer, whilst Kristoffer Lo took over from Thomas Dahl, playing guitar, percussion and flugabone. more »
