El dragón de Colombiana

Let me tell you about a boy named Ricky
Bounced from town to town, but ended up in the city
Dude seemed cool, so they showed him around the city
Even dudes he can come up with, put it to him simply
Many blunts would pass while they laugh about nothing
Type of dude that would spaz, get mad about nothing
Manic, depressive person, contrasting like a mother
Just trying to maintain balance, wasn't raised by his mama
Slave to the system, since the age of three
Got touched by foster pops, could've been a stage three
But fear equals silence, so the man remained free
Continued to wreak havoc till the age of 83
Fair to say, Ricky was walking around with baggage
Enough for an 18 month trip to Paris
Embarrassed memories of stepdad's havoc
Tragic, suppression kicks in like magic
But the nightmares remain a reminder of the pain
From that cold night in May from which he'd never be the same
For this he swims in pussy and stays in cocaine
To numb his soul from the cold misery and shame

By now Ricky was looking good in the hood
Even bagged a local joint that was looking rather good
Gathered a team that was up to no good
Pussy, money and weed, the only things they understood
Spoke the same language, toke the same hammers
Fucked the same hoes, caused the same damage
Even left a couple enemies with brains hanging
Pretty normal when you live the life of a banger
Slanging, pimping and whatever else is damning
If God exists then this one he left abandoned
Neglected, starved for attention, boys famished
Then one day he just up, left and vanished
For months we lived in a land of ignorance
No idea the kind of shit he was dealing with
In too deep with another man and his keys
And he simply couldn't deal with it
Addiction more powerful than ambition
They'd kill him in a second if they knew he'd been sniffing
The need breeds the mind to be indifferent
From the choices made plus the way he was living
Sprinting, dodging shots in prison
Demons pray for his downfall, God willing
Chilling, leaving cities behind with children
Burned bridges, pray to God, hope he listens
Amen

Years later moved on to his next life
Had a couple kids and moved in with his next wife
Even got clean and a job it looked nice
Boy was OT rocking foreign ID
Put behind sins committed in the past
In the past cause the present wasn't bad
Finally can focus on being dad
Happy ending for a life that was sad
Then one day after work
Double shift back starting to hurt
Walking, sees a face that looks familiar
But not an old friend or familia
Face got white as a ghost
He knew karma was gonna do the most
That's when he heard remember me nigga
You still indebted to me nigga
He turned and ran as fast as possible
But outrunning a bullet is impossible
Always remember you reap what you sow
Six bullets in the end robbed him of his soul
