I just wanna stay out and feel nothing at all
But a hint of a glimpse of a store on the mall
And I'll be selling what I'm needing
That late night city feeling
And I'll never be more than a phone call away
And I swear that I'll learn after every mistake
I want your love but I don't need it
I'll rip your heart out just so I can feel it
Yeah

Written all over you is how I would like
To tell you the truth but I can't lie
I find so much comfort in my confusion
I'm getting up again but I can't fall
So if I stand will I writhe in my delusion

Over and over and over again
I promise I'm trying my best

I just wanna stay out and feel nothing at all
But a hint of a glimpse of a store on the mall
And I'll be selling what I'm needing
That late night city feeling
And I'll never be more than a phone call away
And I swear that I'll learn after every mistake
I want your love but I don't need it
I'll rip your heart out just so I can feel it

Written all over me is just what I'd like to think that I could be
But don't you lie, it's fine
I've never been so lost in what I'm doing
So tell me everything you wanna hear
What you're looking for, what's never here
You can't compare this with nowhere

Over and over and over again
I promise I'm trying my best

I just wanna stay out and feel nothing at all
But a hint of a glimpse of a store on the mall
And I'll be selling what I'm needing
That late night city feeling
And I'll never be more than a phone call away
And I swear that I'll learn after every mistake
I want your love but I don't need it
I'll rip your heart out just so I can feel it

I'll rip your heart out just so I can feel it
No need for an apology
Cause I don't need your sympathy
Cause what's been lost on me will set you free

I just wanna stay out and feel nothing at all
But a hint of a glimpse of a store on the mall
And I'll be selling what I'm needing
That late night city feeling
And I'll never be more than a phone call away
And I swear that I'll learn after every mistake
I want your love but I don't need it
I'll rip your heart out just so I can feel it
So I can feel it
