Well I'm slated to start a new Journey
Too bad the futures far away from me
So to pass my time, I rest my head and sleep
But the wolves just won't stay away from the sheep

Well I'd have some dreams that would kill the ghosts
But it ain't the truth since I am the host
Begone with you the little monsters would stay
Then again and again, they'll chase me away

I must crawl my way out of this nightmare
But to do that I must not worry, but prepare
Because the stakes are high, and the light is dim
But this is your mind, you can always win

So I sneak around my mind's eternal void
Because my tormentors have been deployed
I seen loved ones die,  and I've been very lost
I've seen myself risk my life no matter the cost

Well I could run and hide or play my mind's games
If I don't at least try results will stay the same
If I don't put this bad dream away
It'll come back and haunt me the next day

I must fight my way out of this nightmare
But the demons constantly pull out my hair
I'm behind the wheel of this car I steer
But am I in the car,  or am I the deer

Well if I don't get out no matter the cost
I'll be stuck in here to watch the loss
One by one they all go down
And I'm stuck in here feeling like a clown who
Just couldn't get a break
But now I am awake

As The slasher starts killing my friends
I jolt awake,  the dream has reached its end
But  now I must get up and begin the day
Less  stressful tomorrow I hope and pray
See  I was wrong about with scary in my dreams
Twas  not the monsters but the stressed out screams
Cuz life is true Terror,  you fear and you gain
But  we spend it in fear,  and yes,  we complain
So  now you must wake up
Life you must prepare
That was just a dream
Now live your
