Fall came, soon as the rain hit on the glass of the window pane. The moon fell away. The morning you left, time took it's aim. Slow days, fall into the place. The grass now has grown, but I stay the same. And wistful, I ride on that long southbound train. I was fickle and bruised. You were nimble and bloom, gracefully in all your dancing shoes. And all our memories, how they all will follow me past all the trees and down every street. But now you belong to Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania. Spending so long try'n to find where I was wrong. Knowing was aimless, and love was moving on. And all our memories, how they all will follow me, in the crowds and the cities, chasing our dreams. But now you belong to Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania. So I wait for the season to change. The sky's coloured grey in a cloudy haze. I'll pack up my bags and head out of State, maybe go to LA. I've been saving some.
