I watched a little boy who was trapped in a dark place
He didn't have nowhere to go and had no one to call on for help
And this little boy kept going and kept going which made him go deeper into the pits of his darkness
And this little boy began to feel fear and he began to fall under the pressure because
he had no direction on where he was going
He stopped and wrote a letter to his family to let them know that he was going to take
his life away due to the stress and the burdens of his darkness
But one day, one day, this little boy, he called on the name of Jesus for help and the light at the end of the tunnel began shining all the way on him
He was no longer in darkness and this little boy could see everything
And God told this little boy and said, keep your eyes on me, keep your eyes on the prize and I will show you the way out of your darkness
And this boy was aware of his talents now
He was aware of his gifts now
He was aware of his purpose and he began to have tunnel vision for his purpose in Christ
This little boy began to have the tendency to focus exclusively on his goals and his
point of views
This boy started excelling in his gift
He elevated and he went to higher places and became a light to others in their darkness
And this boy that I'm talking about right now is my brother and my friend named Darius Givens
And that is why it's important that we have tunnel vision for our goals because when we
do that, we can block out all the negativity, we can silence the distractions and we can
focus on the main achievements to keep moving forward and going to higher places
