Jale is a Canadian indie rock band formed in the 1990s, consisting of lead singer and guitarist Jennifer Pierce, bassist Laura Stein, drummer Alyson MacLeod, and guitarist Eve Hartling. They were known for their melodic pop sound and strong female vocal harmonies. Jale released two albums, "Dreamcake" in 1993 and "So Wound" in 1996, before disbanding in the late 1990s. They gained a cult following and left a lasting impact on the Canadian indie rock scene. more »
