But I counter him with some calm reason
An olive branch at this festive season
I offer him some food for thought like how Jan 6th was just really treason

It seems like I'm getting through to him and his white privilege like I've got hacks
But the boomer chimes in before I'm done
And says, "If they're not guilty, then why'd they run?"
He's misanthropic, he's changing topics
And now he says "We're gonna take his guns"
But we never said that we would take his guns
No one said that they would take his guns
He's two seconds from losing a son
But he's no closer to losing guns
