Got a call from a long time friend he said they're gonna tear down our old school and then
Build another one down by the football field
It's been years since we moved from there

So we signed a petition, formed a coalition to save our school from demolition
And old friends came from miles away
When we met in our old gym,. I shared memories with all of them
And I knew they might take our school, but not my friends and not these days
