I'm feeling all the highs, all the pain
I bow down to cry and pray
Feeling the fear of the unknown
These battle scars don't look like they're fading
Days are getting longer
Nights are getting more and more painful
And I feel like I could lose my mind
This exquisite fantasy into broken reality
And I can feel the serenity of the wide blue ocean
The world is quite here
In the stillness of the night
I see her face in the shades of light
Her eyes a violet hue
A vision that I can't undo
The mirror can lie
Lonely, crying, in the mid of July
A heart once full, now standing still,
A bitter pill, without a care
Of what could have been, but never will be
Raindrops made music as they fell on the floor from the sky
Such a beautiful, mesmerizing art
But this feels like a sudden storm in summer
The light in the darkness, the warmth in the cold
My recent undertakings fall short to what I have expected to turn out
And I feel like I could lose my mind
