It's another rainy Christmas in Seattle
Well, at least we've almost made it through the year

This town could use some glad tidings and cheer

And next week another lonesome New Years eve
But at least I won't wake up cold and hungry
On the streets of the city I love, but must leave

'Cause I've been priced out of the neighborhood
I've called home for twenty years
From a city that has so much wealth to give
For a town with all these commies
All you liberal dads and mommies
Why does it feel so damn conservative

It's another rainy Christmas in Seattle
There's free meals for the folks off Broadway Avenue
But the cops will sweep the parks again tomorrow
You know, just like Jesus Christ would do

And it's hard for a rich man to enter heaven
And the meek shall inherit all the earth
