Doin' backflips, doin' backflips in my brain
Thoughts bouncin' around, feels like I'm goin' insane
How do I healthily cope with the subliminal thoughts in my brain
Feelings, emotions, chemicals, those damn things

I feel like I just need to scream
Is this how everyone feels? I know it can't just be me
Wish I could put my mind on the floor, put my thoughts on the shelf to store
For a later date that'd be real nice

Vacuum sealed, air tight, hidden away far from sight
Tucked away deep inside
But that don't solve, it don't solve anything
I'll never get past the past if I continue burying
All of the hurt that continues resurfacing
Face the facts and move through the past, bury it before it buries me

So I'll write em down, speak em out loud, anything to get em out
And I'm tearin' down the walls I built around
The thoughts I'm too afraid to air out
And anything and everything always comes out in the wash
My mindset renewed as I'm steppin' through everything I thought was lost
Has now been found, a joyful sound is once again in my heart

And now I'm doin' backflips, doin' backflips in my brain
Thoughts dancin' around, feels good to be happy again
There's peace, I'm free, and all things are redeemed
All darkness has turned to light
So thankful I didn't give up, that I always stayed in the fight
