In the cities we hustle chasing dreams so grand

We're working hard trying to prove our worth

Beaches are lovely but the sharks are lurking
In this land of wonders  we are so lonely
From fires to the floods we are still standing strong

The Aboriginal people our history's so deep
Colonization scars still make us weep
We strive for justice for the convicts that came here
Learning from the past we're trying not to fail

Hard life in Straya is  a tale to be told
In this rocked up land where the heart is gold
We unite in diversity with the Southern Cross
Facing life's challenges no matter what the loss

From the Great Barrier Reef to the rocked up Red Centre
Life in Australia it's an epic adventure
We face the heatwaves and the floods so wild
With our mates beside us we can conquer our rivals

So here's to the land of the kangaroo and koala
Where life is hard but our spirit's  stand a dollar
In this sunburnt country we stand side by side
Through all the struggles we continue ti survive

In Australia's tough life we'll find our way
Facing each sunrise come what may
