Oroboros

The ouroboros or uroboros () is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. The ouroboros entered Western tradition via ancient Egyptian iconography and the Greek magical tradition. It was adopted as a symbol in Gnosticism and Hermeticism and most notably in alchemy. Some snakes, such as rat snakes, have been known to consume themselves. One captive snake attempted to consume itself twice, dying in the second attempt. Another wild rat snake was found having swallowed about two-thirds of its body. more »

Sand foundation
Scaffold of pain
For millennials to come my kingdom shall remain

I plunge my blade
Into the flesh
In Egypt's blood I feel refreshed

Docile scarabs
Gnaw at my feet
Your god has returned with the rebirth of the creed

Scorpion returns
Reclaim the throne
Injecting the sweet nectar Into your bones

I rise from the summon
You shall be my new kingdom
On you knee, my little pawns
Bleed for me! Give your life to the God

Blowing from me the sand of my past
Truly I wish this had not come to pass
Crumbling slowly, a palace of dust
Cracking the whip, for sadly I must

Will I be remembered
Will I be remembered

I forge stone in my likeness
My memory shall be eternal
Plague upon the servants of Ra
Death of the son; give your life to the God

Blowing from me the sand of my past
Truly I wish this had not come to pass
Crumbling slowly, a palace of dust
Cracking the whip, for sadly I must

Falling fast
Shooting star
The hammer breaks the anvil

Crack the surface
Gone too far
A blow of dark omens

Break through
To the foundation
Death in billions

Falling fast
Shooting star
The hammer breaks the anvil

Crack the surface
Gone too far
A blow of dark omens
