Boomer

Baby boomers (often shortened to boomers) are the demographic cohort following the Silent Generation and preceding Generation X. The generation is often defined as people born from 1946 to 1964, during the post–World War II baby boom. The term is also used outside the United States, but the dates, the demographic context, and the cultural identifiers may vary. The baby boom has been described variously as a "shockwave" and as "the pig in the python". Most baby boomers are children of either the Greatest Generation or the Silent Generation, and are often parents of late Gen Xers and Millennials. In my dreams, I see the sea
And the people that I love all staring at me

But I know that's not real life

In real life I'd panic too
And act like a human as I often do
I'd scream and cry, run for my life
As the ocean wins the battle it's waged with the tide

So I'll gather wood and build my loved ones an Ark
So we can get used to life on the water
And we can look deep in the polar bear's eyes
Cause we'll be the same when we die, on the ocean's floor
