William Walton

Sir William Turner Walton (29 March 1902 – 8 March 1983) was an English composer. During a sixty-year career, he wrote music in several classical genres and styles, from film scores to opera. His best-known works include Façade, the cantata Belshazzar's Feast, the Viola Concerto, the First Symphony, and the British coronation marches Crown Imperial and Orb and Sceptre. Born in Oldham, Lancashire, the son of a musician, Walton was a chorister and then an undergraduate at Christ Church, Oxford. From the pan
Into the fire
Battling
With my desire
I found a way
To make my wildest dreams come true

Finding out
Those lines you gave
Were making me
Remain enslaved
cnd that is why
I had to find a better way

cnd then the walls came crumbling down
cnd the skies turned to gray
Got a lot off my chest but I've got one last thing to say

Leave me alone (You lost a lot from lying)
You're on your own (Sit back for me replying)
Put down the phone (I'm done with all your crying)
Cause I'm finally home
(Wanted to see me dying/But now I'm fortifying/While you're just self-denying)

Moving up
In my own life
Your misery
Cuts like a knife
I don't care
It don't affect me anymore
Leaving you
To start anew
I thought I would
Never make it through
But I found the key
To my success and happiness

cs I was lying in the sand
I just let it wash away
I felt permanently detached
From the games you used to play

Leave me alone (You lost a lot from lying)
You're on your own (Sit back for me replying)
Put down the phone (I'm done with all your crying)
Cause I'm finally home
(Wanted to see me dying/But now I'm fortifying/While you're just self-denying)

cnother life that's far away
From your cheap and petty ways
I deserve all that is mine
cnd I'm taking it back today

Leave me alone (You lost a lot from lying)
You're on your own (Sit back for me replying)
Put down the phone (I'm done with all your crying)
Cause I'm finally home
(Wanted to see me dying/But now I'm fortifying/While you're just self-denying)
