How can you live freely, when this story is predetermined?
How can you feel so easy, and not get discouraged?
When one thing's promised, and everything gets subverted
How can you still stay determined?
Because if things are really attracted to a positive mindset

I tried to find distractions, alcohol and cigarettes

So I started living by these rules; The law of low expectation
Everything that you assume, in every situation
The universe will just refuse, leave you in humiliation
So instead you misuse, and say you want the bad instead
So you choose to abuse, and you plan, you think ahead
And you get what you want, but now I got to pretend
Like everything's fine, until the very end
I've been given a curse, do the gods hate me?
The curse to think negative to stay happy
I'll keep thinking in my head and this will be the end of me
And unless I change something
There won't be a happy ending to this story
