Lost a lot in life's contest
but if I have you Lord I'm a winner
And I consider myself blessed

Some day I'll fly above it all
Far above this hurt and pain
I won't feel these limitations
At last I'll break these chains
I'll bask in your presents
And rejoice in my soul
Just a sparrow singing praises
Forever to my Lord

I've seen a fallen sparrow
And felt a sense of loss
One of God's beautiful creatures
Returning to the dust
For everything there's a season
Spring must turn to fall
Every sparrows days are numbered
It's how you fly that matters most
