Thank you all for tuning in I got a lot to say
But I only got a little time to show what's on this page
So Imma need your focus I won't hold you for too long
But let me tell you where I was before I wrote you all the songs
Raised in a Christian home they say you ain't got problems
But I know we all got them just in a different place to blossom
Mine grew up in lust when I was only 13
Yet God loved me just as much when I clicked my first stream
Didn't think my actions would come with the repercussions
Ain't realize what I was stuck in
Just thinking this is what love is
But something real deep inside me told me this ain't right
So I told it don't worry my parents serve and worship Christ
Man was I confused
Although they a different size I would still look so surprised when I found out they couldn't fill my shoes
So I was moved to finally fill em myself
Man let me tell you exactly what that can do for your health
That's when addiction was broken
And new doors started to open
Others started to close
But they were filled with selfish motives
So I pressed on and focused
Dropped the pain I was holding
Just hoping God would pick it up and then he said I was chosen
To go and help out all his people while surrounded by evil
How can we walk in the truth when there's been lies taught in the steeple
Here to break all the chains that say that they can hold us down
And at one point they did but I thank God we made it out
But I'm starting to have some doubts
A seed of fear begins to sprout
Should I stay and stomp it out, or leave and let it grow
I'm getting kind of tired seeing these weeds eat my soul
But I know I'm not done
And I know the battles won
Satan tryna throw me off but now I know the Son
I can look past all my problems I can do it with ease
Knowin every chain he put on me my father got the keys
So I ain't stoppin till the whole city know bout the king
Trot to every mountaintop till they can all hear me sing
All praise to my God
Jehovah Jireh, provider, my fire, my rock
And those are just the names that I can think of off the top
Lord I'll keep giving praise
Lord till the end of my days
I pray you give me hope and strength to set your people ablaze
Though the road ahead is rough after looking in the rear
One things for sure I'm just glad we made it here
