God, You came to me when You were the last thing on my mind

You alone Father are my rock, my refuge, my salvation
My anchor, my safe place, the source of all creation
You understand my ins and outs, but why God do I still doubt?
Your existence, your power, your ability to do things
Though You've cleansed me, You've saved me, yet I still sin
Your amazing grace is something I'm yet to understand
But that's just a small piece to think of when I look at the grand

I try and try, at times feel like giving up
It's now where I ask myself "what if Jesus never drank that cup?"
The cup that saved me, for God's will was done
After 3 days he rose, a new life had begun

The clarity you give to me

There's nothing that compares to thee
Because of you I can now breathe
Because of you, I'm now set free
