Garbage bag over shoulder as I pass another day
The feelings I have about life don't get chased away
I stay here, getting my head clear
Each day alive, dying is coming nearer

The mirror doesn't show all my imperfections
I take it in like all of them were a lesson
Stressing about this fucked up weather
Trying hard to hold it all together, I try

With a pen again, releasing what's been in
This mind, these lines, these rhymes, these times
Of lying down, wondering about the world around, I wonder
As the earth shakes, the face on the ground, as it shakes

Living with less best friends that come around
Writing for that woman I don't have right now, don't have her
Walking by that creek to seek that night owl, keep walking
Cause nature makes me able to cope with the now

Lost in the sun, secrets are kept in poems
But I show them, flow like rivers to try and deliver
These pictures of self-portrait literature
Finding my cure cause everyday I'm alive

The day passes and it's all a big blur
I'm sure I'll grow out of this lonely living mechanism
It's like a prison but I'm freeing bars
Before these memories I got leave me scarred
