The emptiness
A winged and threatened tangled beast

Something ricocheting into the distant familiar
Stars and planets as scattering glass marbles
Across the slippery night floor of eternity

It's all accidental
This, that
Me and you and the bombs

An accident gave rise to Orion and all galaxies
Our atoms coalescing into nebulas, hearts, and oceans
multiplying and dividing
becoming dinosaurs, rocks, dogma, and dung

The design is an accident
Or the accident is the design

Numbers hide fantastically in the murk
Divinely scripted equations break free
Then cloak the answers within the temple walls of eternal fire
Amidst mushroom clouds of varying colors
The ordinance of light races through from hyperspace
To coalesce into this Milky Way

The unknown god forges quarks, protons and cosmic order
