Losing
A staring contest with my pencil
Listening to unfinished instrumentals
Dropping it, lead breaking
Casing inconsequential
Everything wants my attention
And why is noise always the final destination
In this purgatory of suspension
I made a bed to warm my feet
With sheets made of concrete

Pigeons are shot at drawing
Who would have known
What even is a line
Where is it this time
Change what you don't like
But where is the incentive
If it's all about perspective
Fix your flaws, and accept
Everything about yourself
Be strong and vulnerable
Not careless
Help others
But mind your own business
Work hard, but don't stress
Be the best, be happy
Don't compromise
Just breathe in, real deep
And it'll all be fine
Wow
That's some great fucking advice
Yet somehow another year went by
And you realise
That this pigeon still alive
Still scolding
Still withholding
Bout time I started molting
Reflecting through half assed poetry
About fucking poultry
Resenting all this storage
Presenting this new plumage
Warm feels warmer
Cold feels colder
Sisyphean craving of control
Let go of that boulder
Let it roll
Hit the eye of the beholder
There's feathers all over
I'm scared it's all over
Confusing narrative inconclusive
Resolution is illusive
Recollection addiction intrusive
Black box I'm gonna lose it
It will never be enough
Pigeon lost its way
So much left to say
But journey's not over
