Legacy self pity ain't in my recipe
A lot of people the epitome of fake potential because
They never see longevity swimming in shallow-waters and wonder
Why when they jump in they hit their feet
Staying quiet don't make you smart it makes you obsolete
Pretending to be happy while working
Only gives the job you work for a better feat
If you don't like what you doing then take a hike
And get to humble things but you must learn to take accountability
Every decision or effort entirely, you're the one who pathed
A path for glory or did you stop to admit your shame
Cause no ones perfect not even someone who's been acclaimed
From Albert Einstein to Luther King, or John McCain
Hit a wall no wonder why we feel more pain
We do the things that hurt our ways it's such a waste
You'd think we'd see our graves and stop and get in shape
But people would take a life if it means their getting paid
Do you trust your Uber driver possibly convicted felons
Do you trust a pilot when you going on vacation
Knowing that at any moment they could take ya' with them
Do you trust the traffic when your walking
Do you know that someone in front of you could be dying
So many lying, someone next door could tryna be spying
That's the point, life disappoints, if death
Had more options then I'd rather go spend my life
Investing in its stock then chasing fake possessions
Am I successful enough for my own legacy
Sometimes this generations break my spirit and cuts me deep
It makes me wonder, why are we here if we can't freely speak
If that's the case then let me sleep, RIP
Just kidding, I'm never gonna back down
This is my legacy, the whole point of my album
Is for my own god damn legacy
