Forced into finding furious fiery flurries flowering
In the middle of April instead of rain it's aggressively snow showering
Nothing can bloom there's no growth capable of powering
Their way through the icy cold, so nature is stuck just cowering
With an absolute devastation
Every year the desolation
Comes and visits this destination
Ten or more times it's devastating
Winter to spring, to fall back to winter
Over and over it's truly a thorn
I know mother nature she is no sprinter
But this back and forth won't let flowers be born
The gorgeousness of a full bloom
Is something our spirits really need to consume
It brings up a sense of growth and pushing forward
Which in my town is something we can not afford to
Keep pushing off each time this shit changes
It leaves everyone feeling mentally deranged and
truly beaten to a pulp
Pick a damn season my people need hope

As the third fourth and fifth winter hits home
It places me right back into this isolated zone
Where I actively escape
Doing anything but wait
For it to just go away
Cause I struggle just to take

So instead I just lock into whatever couch or chair
