This is the last time
The last time
I said this is the last time
The last time

The sloppier that you deliver
The more heartfelt and human it is

Well wishing everything was well together
Soul been in a desert
Storm well I had several
And I'd really hate to bring home bad weather
But there's a war going on and I needed shelter
Been hiding in the trenches
Just to coat my depression
While they talking who's fresher
In the close I'm undressing
That alone is a mess and
I been looking for a message
I'd be lying if that's true
I found comfort in no progression
Wonder if I payed attention
Could I have earned my lesson
Lately I been eager
Looking for the short cut like a Caesar
When I'm around my boys it's kick yo feet up
Roll that weed up
And I wish I was strong enough to say that I did neither
I guessed it I second guessed it
I let it get too ahead
Guess third times a charm and my last

They used to say this when I was going to church
They used to say don't go up there for no form or fashion
You know
This some real praise and singing for the lord
So don't be up here trying to be cute
You know
Cause we don't care about all that
We just want to feel what you, you know
And what the spirit is moving through you
In you shutting yourself down
And um you let whatever's coming
Come, you know, come through you

I know I said the last time was the last time
But I wouldn't have another verse right
Uh
I'm still struggling

Still carrying weight that won't let up
Baggage designer a let down no not ever
Sites with warnings in 'em before you click to enter
There's no backing out now I must satisfy my inner
Being that I'm on that topic
I might as well go ahead and keep it honest
Fueled by my desires
And deceit that be the pilot
Is it plane that I crashed
I know my last was the last
Didn't mean to say that so fast
Cause now I'm back
Back backed against the wall of my past
Thinking the other side is greener
But there's snakes in that grass
Here I go
Thinking that I would put all of that behind me
Now my last is why I'm lost and in desperate need of finding
I done fell down several times and came up fighting
Weary oh yeah but I'm not done trying
