Close enough to kiss
Two hawks pass, coiling
Enraptured raptors riding through the air
Eyes catching pieces of light
Radical pairs quantumly entangled
Earth's magnetic field flashing below
Like runway beacons
Visible pathways of guiding light,
Do they also see the gusts
On which they glide
Currents curling under their wings
A deep greyblue sea or tornados of green
Fiery flames surging with wind's pulse
Sparks swirling like starry skies

Tidal waves of wind
Crashing over houses
Howling sirens of windsong rattling windows
Washing through the trees
Swaying languidly like old lovers
Dancing in the hush of shushing leaves
Pouring through wild fields
Tall grasses rushing
Swells and eddies and pools and lakes of wind
Thin trickles,.. swirling tentacles of wind
Like writhing snakes
Fingers of wind beckoning
Tendrils swirling like smoke
Ribbons of air tying bows
In twisting strands of hair
Brushing ripples across reed shades
Sending shivers over the surface of
A stream or licking sun-bare skin
The shape of dunes of sand scalloped
Edges of drifting snow
The shape of rain slicing sheets

Sheets billowing on a line
Like puffs of clouds
Fluffs of down floating upward
Dandelion tufts like flakes of snow
Snow blowing sideways
Gyrating arabesques
Leftover luffs of sails or spinnakers
Filled round like Dizzy's cheeks
Pirouetting dancer
An ice skater spinning faster and faster
A dervish whirling
Fluttering of prayer flags butterfly wings
An escaped balloon ascending
slowly spiraling up and up and up
Perhaps to heaven
Breezes cascading unendingly
Around this tiny blue jewel
The shape of earth's breath
A birdsong, the shape of a poem
Flowing, of petals opening
Of undulating saplings
Their silver backs of leaves shining
Like new flowers
Wild rose perfume rising
The shape of chimes singing  a sigh,
A whisper, a laugh.. wafting
the breath of a blessed beloved
Caressing,.. like love..  like love
