A broken smile lights up the room
He makes it out with half a mind
The other half is going blind.

But he is lost without control
Just a lost soul on the road
He will never let it go
She'll be back before you know

He sleeps by day and walks by night
He finds no peace with candlelight
The road he travels twists and turns
The haunted shadows do their worst

And those who come, they leave no trace
His broken smile without a face
The depths of Hell aren't quite so bad
The faceless travellers feel their wrath.

But he is lost without control

He will never let it go
She'll be back before you know

And he's not living
In his corner of the world he just keeps spinning
Staring up, and out towards the Heavens
But he can't have a way to get them.
