God sent His Son to walk the earth
He planned for Him a humble birth
He showed the world all His worth one glorious day

Shepherds came to see the King
Wise men brought an offering
They heard the heavenly angels sing that glorious day

Can you see the shepherds' eyes as they neared the Holy Child
Can you see the Wise men bow before the Savior meek and mild
Can you hear the angels sing His praise
Can you see the glow upon His face

Jesus grew to be a man
To fulfill His Father's plan
He preached the Word throughout the land. Oh, glorious day
Jesus healed the deaf and lame
And for the blind he did the same
They shouted out the Savior's name one glorious day

Can you hear my Jesus call for His disciples one by one
Can you hear them ask the people to come and see God's Son
Can you hear the crowds begin to proclaim
Hosanna to His blessed name

Hear the people shout crucify
Hear Pilate sentence Him to die
Hear the hammer hit the cross of wood
Upon which my lovely Jesus stood

Jesus died upon a tree
Paid the sacrifice for me
He gave His life so I could see a glorious day

When they laid Him in the tomb
They expected death and doom
But light began to fill the room where Jesus lay

Can you see the massive stone that was suddenly rolled away
Can you hear the angels praise as Jesus rose up from the grave
See the mourners run without delay
To shout the news that Jesus lives today

Now I've given everything
Make my life an offering
For He's the reason why I sing
