About Friends

Friends is an album by Chick Corea. The quartet of Corea, Joe Farrell on reeds, Eddie Gómez on double bass, and Steve Gadd on drums recorded the album in 1978. It was released by Polydor Records and the cover featured the Smurfs. Friends received the 1979 Grammy award for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance, Group.
