Leonie Mac is a veteran of the Australian music industry. This singer / songwriter and bourgeois bohemian is influenced by a myriad of musical influences from dark wave, electronic, alternative rock, world, and inspirational. In the late 1990s she was signed to Albert Productions (Alberts), Australia's oldest independent and most successful recording company. She was the first solo female artist the iconic company had ever signed to their label. She has also been a recipient of funding from The Australia Council for the Arts to develop some of her original material, and she received recognition as a lyric writer in the National Song Writers Competition. Leonie finally released her debut digital album in 2017 and her independent, follow-up digital album in 2019.
