Cris Lord

Cris Lord is a Trinidad-born, Christian recording artist. Birthed into a musical family, his exposure to music came at an early age which transformed into a childhood of performing nurtured all the way through adolescence. A few years, national awards and competition titles later he felt a strong calling to music ministry, however, pursued his other dream of becoming an Engineer. During his tenure at University, Cris came to believe he could no longer deny his unique calling and made the life-changing decision to take a leave of absence and started cultivating his craft. With the help of long-time friend and schoolmate, Christian producer, AK1L, he focused on investing in his talent to become a credible recording artist and performer. After years of private work, Cris is bringing his first offering to light with the single, Banner, off of his debut EP, Prelusion. “I think the set of songs I'm speaking through now are snapshots of conversations with God about our relationship that capture the real truth of the way he thinks of and acts toward me. These snapshots take place in a time where I'm beginning to really notice and accept Who He is, who I am... and the incredible truth that he loves me despite those realities. I'm hoping that, in sharing them, other people will find help in navigating their own realities... and find hope and change and life..." -Cris Lord.
