Shannon Jae prior is an indie alternative pop artist who has been working on music for “As long as she can remember”. Growing up she was heavily influenced by artists such as Stevie nicks, jewel, Lana del Rey, and Tracy Chapman. According to Shannon, “All I want is for my music to have meaning to the people listening to it. I want them to feel something. I think that’s what all music should do. “ Creating a unique sound that resonates with audiences has always been a big part of the picture as well as allowing listeners step into her world through her music. “My favorite kind of music is the type that makes feel like you’re driving down the coast at night or sitting on the floor listening to an old record; that’s the kind of sound I want to create”. Constantly creating and writing she spends her time working with producers and continuing to work on her EP and upcoming album.
