Elan Leon is the solo project and stage name of Singer/Producer Alan Wurman. Through his extensive music career, he has been awarded “Grand Prize” for best song in the MTV artist competition “Ourstage” (USA), as well as “Best Artist” by the UK artist competition “Slice The Pie”, both times with his band "SOFIA Dayenu". Wurman is also the founder and frontman of the Electronic Indie Rock band “People The Kangaroo” which was awarded the GoPro Music Video Award in 2016 for their song “You Would Not Believe Me” with a video of his own hand traveling the world for a period of 3 years. In 2019 he became known for being the creator and face of the popular Facebook and social media channel Alan’s Theory where he explores environmental and socially conscious ideas. The channel went viral in 2019 with a video proposing to eliminate the toothpaste boxes in order to reduce carbon emissions. The video was retweeted and posted by several celebrities and politicians around the world and got more than 30 million views combining all platforms. Elan Leon is based in Los Angeles but is originally from Chile.
