Dwanna Orange is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. She was initially introduced to music through church as a child, and grew to fall deeply in love with it. She started singing at the age of six; began writing music at eleven, and professionally recorded her first original song at twelve. Dwanna has sung background for Beyoncé, Kanye West, Sting, Mavis Staples, Rita Ora and Kim Burrell, just to name a few. She has opened for comedian, Steve Harvey; and crowned "Best Soul Singer" by BET’s 106 & Park. Dwanna has participated on American Idol, Americas got Talent, P. Diddy’s, “Making His Band”, “The Voice”, and became a top finalist on New York’s very own "Showtime @ the Apollo". From 2010-2012 Dwanna was hired as the lead female singer to tour the world and pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson. She performed many of his hits in front of thousands of people while traveling to Spain, Niagara Falls, Amsterdam, London, Monte Carlo, Lebanon, and Jordan. In 2013, Dwanna Orange was employed by Stiletto Entertainment as lead vocalist for Holland America cruise line. As for songwriting, Dwanna has a couple placements overseas, one with Korean artist, Boa Kwon, and another with a UK group, called “Parade”. A song Dwanna recorded called, “Vision”, was used in the movie “Streets”, that aired Aug 23, 2012, on BET. As Dwanna continues to climb the ladder of success, she's so thankful to God, and the fans who support her music!
