From the rocky shores of North America's oldest city, St. John’s, Canada, David Brodie has established himself as a respected singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His first song, written at the age of 16, became a hit in his home province and from that point on his direction was clear. From the beginning David has aspired to write melodies that would be remembered long after being heard. Taking inspiration from a variety of artists such as The Beatles, Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra, and many more he continues towards his goal of writing the perfect song. David’s time playing in piano bars and entertaining that wide range of clientele has given him an exhaustive knowledge of songs from old standards to the most recent pop hits. In his own music, David attempts to recreate what makes these classics so loved and requested. Whether it’s a beautiful melody, an irresistible hook or a poignant message, elements of all these can be heard in his music. As a result of his work to create songs that resonate, both his songs and instrumental music have been used all around the world such varied mediums as TV, video games, in stores, film, etc.
