Music connects people in extraordinary ways. For Krakow-based Cheap Flights, this is definitely not a cliché. Their lives crossed paths first in 2013, and soon this group of unknown souls turned into a musical family, who formed their final four-piece lineup in 2016. Cheap Flights share a broad set of inspirations placed somewhere in between the sounds of dark post-rock, melodic guitar-based alternative, and shoegaze. In their musical landscape you will find everything from dreamy, reverb-soaked yet powerful female vocals, melodic and hypnotic bass lines, to powerful drumming and guitars oscillating from warm melodies to roaring distortions. Their music transverses complex categorisation simply through a unique chemistry between all the members, who truly aim to share their feelings and emotions through their sound. After a long ride on the memory road, building strength for future travels, Cheap Flights will release their first album on 26 May, recorded, mixed, and produced by Krakow label Wynik Współpracy.
