Aretha Louise Franklin (March 25, 1942- August 16, 2018) This is the original live recording of Old Landmark from the Amazing Grace album recorded in January 1972 at The New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, Ca. with Reverend James Cleveland and the Southern California Community Choir accompanying Franklin in performance. The recording was originally released as a double album on June 1, 1972 by Atlantic Records. it was remastered in 1999 under Amazing Grace the original recordings under Rhino Records with many previous unreleased takes. this is Franklin's biggest selling recording in her over 50 year career as an artist & the highest selling live gospel music album of all time.
